Ambient Light Rejecting (ALR) Projection Screens

Orientation
- Be very careful with the orientation of an ALR screen. It rejects light from the top or from the bottom, and accordingly the projector position is very important. Usually you will place an UST projector on a bench or small table (light will be coming from the bottom), so you have to buy a model that is designed for this. If you buy an ALR screen where the projector is mounted on the ceiling, it won't work at all with a projector on a table.
- Symptoms will be a very dark screen and some visual artefacts on the screen (I had a visible ray of light somewhere around the center for instance).
