This is an article about high quality free fonts.
Font installation on Gentoo
- Even if the font does not have an ebuild (which is the case most of the time), installation is very easy. Download the font and copy it to ~/.fonts.
- For global installation, you can put your font in /usr/local/share/fonts (the directories are listed in /etc/fonts/fonts.conf.
- You just need to restart your applications to benefit of the new font.
