Major Problems
- amd64 installation on Core 2 Duo seems slow. It *is* fast, but one would expect better performance from such a configuration.
Normal Problems
- A 64-bit client JVM is not available. Maybe it will be included in Java 1.7 but it's unlikely and anyway it's still far away.
- TexLive (2007 and later) support in Gentoo would be very nice.
- Monitor cannot go on suspend mode with amd64 + nvidia drivers. Fix seems to be in Xorg 7.2.
Minor Problems
- Better ALSA support in Wine. This is probably going to be fixed soon.
- kdesvn causes a bug in Konqueror DCOP. This is already fixed in KDE 3.5.6.
- Starting ALSA at boot writes the message: "XXX: Write TLV" to the console. This will hopefully be fixed in a future release of alsa-utils.
